According to this blog all I do is go on vacation - oh, how I wish that was true! I guess I could bore my readers (aka my Mom and sister) with which celebrity was on Sesame Street each morning, the size diapers Jack is wearing or which flavor of yogurt Jack likes best. I am pretty positive that would bore my readers to the point where the guilt of being my blood wouldn't even be enough to make them read it. So I guess I'll just continue to make my life look more exciting than it is!
So, for Mother's Day Gar treated me with a trip to Texas to visit family since he was going out of town. I jump at any chance to visit the fam so I was very excited- plus Garrett also wins points with my Mom because she feels as if it is also a Mother's Day present for her too (have I mentioned how she loves Jack more than me?). Win, win! I'll use pictures to narrate our vacation because that's just always more exciting... and a little monster may or may not have ripped off my space bar so typing is a little difficult.
Our second day in Tejas was Aunt Hannie's senior prom so Jack and I went to spend the night at my sis-in-law's so her friends wouldn't have to worry about being too loud when they came back to my parent's house after the dance. But Jack loves to play/watch his cousins and he looved the mini pool, so it was fantastic.

I'm a little bit obsessed with these swimming pictures, good thing my sis-in-law was there with her fancy camera!

Also, look how fabulous Hannah and her date look

When we were in the Mac with my family we went on a lot of walks, played at the park, visited Grandma at work and Jack got to spend a night with Grandpa at the Dairy Queen.

Jack got to take his first trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo!

Mother's Day was wonderful. I missed having Garrett there with me, but he made up for it with an edible arrangement and a mani/pedi. My parents were also wonderful. My Dad got up with Jack so that I could sleep in and then made breakfast. And we got to Skype with Elder Hagee! As always, it was great.

See ya'll in July!
