The end of spring semester always guarantees a few things - it will finally stop snowing, people will be graduating and leaving to start careers, others move back home for the summer, some leave on missions, and (my personal fav) family members come to Provo to help out/visit. For my family, the end of the semester meant Hannah would be moving back to Texas before her mish, Billy's performances in Les Mis would begin, and we would be leaving for Mexico (posts to come). In addition, it meant that my Dad would be driving up to Utah to help Hannah pack up, clean, and move out of her apartment. He actually left a day early to spend extra time with me, Gar, Billy, and Jack - well, mostly Jack.
Jack loves my Dad. When he was around 15-18 months old Jack began calling him "Guh-Guh," which is a big deal for Jack due to his speech delay. Now that Jack has been calling him "Guh-Guh" for almost a year it's beginning to stick (I'm sure it'll eventually turn back into Grandpa; 15 year-old Jack will probs be embarrassed to call him "Guh-Guh" in front of other peeps). Well Jack knew his Guh-Guh was coming to visit, and every time he heard the door open he would run out to the living room to check if it was him - but was always disappointed when it was only Garrett (which, as you can imagine, made him feel great). When he did finally arrive we made sure to do all our favorites; read books, feed the fish and hike at Bridal Veil Falls, swing on the swings, cheer on Dad at his basketball game, and eat at J-Dawgs and Cafe Rio. Although we only saw Guh-Guh for two days, it was wonderful.

We love Guh-Guh.
Sors the pictures are so blurry, my iPhone doesn't always get the best quality photos.
