Okay just kidding. I only wish I had been hibernating. I love sleeping. I miss sleeping. But now that life with two kids has become (somewhat) normal my goal is to update my blog and keep up with it again. Wish me luck!
Back in August we decided (uh, it pretty much all my idea and I didn't really give Garrett an option) to make one more trip before school started again. Our destination? Oh just my favorite place ever and the one place I had been dying to go to ever since Jack was born. We were going to Disneyland!
Okay so I had actually never been to Disneyland before but I've been to Disney World lots of times so I knew I would love it. (Maybe I also didn't give Garrett an option on our honeymoon destination, it was going to be Disney World no matter what - I think I'm kind of bossy). I was so excited to take Jack-Boy to Disneyland and I couldn't wait to see his little face when we met characters, went on rides, and explored the parks. So we picked a weekend - Garrett's birthday weekend - and drove to California. We spent our three days at the Disney parks, a Dodger's game and exploring Beverly Hills (again that was my idea, and it might have had something to do with my secret obsession with the Kardashians and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. STOP JUDGING).
Oh and I was also secretly pregnant for this trip which meant I couldn't ride any of the fun rides. Totes a bummer.

Disneyland
The first thing I did after we decided to go to Disneyland was called and made reservations for a character breakfast. My parents took my siblings and I to these when we were younger and one of us always terrified and traumatized we always had a great experience. This was probably my favorite part of our entire trip though. We met tons of characters (some of which seemed random - Max from The Goofy Movie and Rafiki were there?) and had a pretty delicious meal that of course included Mickey shaped waffles.
Sorry for the lack of pictures from the Dodgers game - it was pretty boring (sorry Gar). Also it was so hot. Jack and I spent the majority of the game in the fan shop because it was the only place with air conditioning. Pregnancy and summer heat don't work well together.
But overall our trip was awesome and I can't wait to go back. Disney foreverrrrr.
