Ah May, the lusty month of May! Oh, um sorry about that... my inner musical theatre geek broke through there for a second. #embarrassing #notreally #camelotkindasucks
This month Bradley turned two months old and his little personality started showing through. Have I mentioned that he's adorable? It's always so fun when babies start smiling and making little baby noises and we ate up all of it. Love love love that boy.

So my older sister Lauren is da bomb. If you read my blog then you probably know her so you already know this. She can do it all: sing, dance, and act! Triple threat. Oh wait, I mean she can sing, play piano, be a lawyer, whip out calligraphy, know all the things AND teach herself to knit. That's like, a lot of threats. So one day I was checking the mail, as I do, and there was package from Lauren. She had knit Bradley a blanket! because I mean, she wasn't busy STUDYING AND TAKING LAW SCHOOL FINALS or anything. It was such a lovely surprise and I'll treasure it forever (don't even roll your eyes at that sappiness, it's all real).
The spring weather in May is always perfect. We spent as much time outside as possible. Jack loves bike and big wheel rides around the neighborhood and Bradley didn't seem to mind all the walks in his stroller. We had a pretty quiet first half of the month, because the second half we spent in Texas! But while we were in Utah we:
Finally tried Art City Donuts (they changed my life)-
So like I said, the second half of the month the boys and I spent in Texas visiting family. I was really anxious about taking both boys by myself on the plane, but it wasn't as awful as I was expecting. Jack was able to mostly keep himself busy on the flight and Bradley was still little enough to be content on my lap. HOWEVER, I was not expecting our one hour layover in Denver to turn into FIVE hours. Thank goodness there's an underground train that runs between the terminals that kept Jack entertained. We eventually made it to Texas without any tantrums or nervous breakdowns. Success!
The timing for our trip was perfect because my Aunt Annis also happened to be visiting from Chicago. It is always a treat to see her. Plus we were able to spend time with Garrett's family, which we always love as well. We didn't do anything too special while in Texas, just the usual stuff - except I totally I got a speeding ticket and that's the worst. Like the worst. Anyway...
Gramme and Bradley Joy (also she's 90 and totally smizing)-
Snow cone dates with Aunt Annis-
Hanging out with G and cousins-
Accidental sleepovers with Grandpa-
Peace out, Texas (and May)!
