Last week the Sundance Film Festival was up in Park City, which for us is about a 45 minute drive through the canyon, so we invited our friends to go check it out. It was the perfect day out, for several reasons. First, Park City is out of the valley, so out of the gross inversion layer. Second, it wasn't that cold and it wasn't snowing (hallelujah). And lastly, going to Park City during Sundance means your chances of meeting a celeb increase by A LOT (and I obvs love my celebrities).
Main Street in the PC.
If you have ever been to Park City then you have probably taken a picture with the random bear on the bench. Of course we did too. Luckily when we arrived at the bear bench there was a really excited European girl standing nearby and she offered to take our picture. She ended up being a little crazy so after I got my camera back we quickly moved on.
Don't mind Jack's snarl.
Okay so preface for this picture - if you have ever been in my Mother's house or had a conversation with my Mother then you'll know she loves moose. It's weird, but true. Every family vacation we went on that involved anything outdoorsy Mother made us constantly be on the lookout for moose. It's her thang. We took a picture by the moose wall in her honor.
Unfortunately we didn't run into any celebrities. It was totes disappointing. I had totally prepared myself to meet James Franco, Jospeh Gordon-Levitt and Guy Pierce. Too bad for them, I guess. Sundance was still fun and a nice change of scenery. At least now we get to look forward to an early spring!

ReplyDeleteI had to remove my first comment because I had a spelling error and it was embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, you didn't have a celebrity sighting? Boo. At least the bear was there. He's a constant.
And too bad Jack isn't smiling that moose picture or Mom would frame it for sure.
I love the moose picture. And I love Mom's weird obsession because it always makes me laugh. Looks like y'all had fun, despite the lack of celebs.
